The Aries Natural Academy grooming internship in Milan
It was held Sunday, March 27, at the Novo Hotel Ca’ Grande in Milan, the grooming stage organized and promoted by the Aries Natural Academy: “Academy for future groomers” established by Aries Natural Solutions. During the internship, which took place throughout the day, participants were able to update and discuss different topics following the explanations and direct demonstrations of the two coaches of Aries Natural Academy, Fabio Cardea and Irene Ferrato. In addition to talking about Aries products and their use according to the type of hair and problems, the coaches have deepened several issues on grooming.
The topics
The topics covered included the treatment of smooth and curly hair, preparation for cutting, articulation and conditioning of the dog’s hair with Aries products.
And then the grooming on bichon frisè, the use of the lifts and the technique of the toothed scissors applied to a smooth hair and the management and articulation with the use of break up products to speed up the time of execution in the store.
As in previous internships, the students were very interested in acquiring new knowledge in the field of grooming, which like many sectors evolves from year to year.
The positive results of the internship
As for the previous internships, it can be said that this last course of the Aries Natural Academy in Milan, has experienced positive results from both coaches and students. The pleasure of the atmosphere created and the satisfaction for the interest shown by the participants are seen in the words of Fabio Cardea, coach for Aries at his grooming Pet living in Giussano (MB), and Irene Ferrato, coach for Aries Natural Academy at her grooming “Irene e Raffaella di Ferrato Irene & C. s.n.c” in Marcon (Ve).

The coach Fabio Cardea
“As always, the atmosphere of the internship was convivial and participatory” – said Fabio Cardea, who during the internship explained the stripping on Schnauzer. “This course has also been important for new groomers and for those who, like me, have been professionals for many years. These are moments in which you not only keep up to date on new techniques and new products through the direct demonstration of experts, but you also have the opportunity to exchange ideas among colleagues, improving their training. For many years I have been collaborating with Aries Natural Solutions, – continues Cardea talking about his experience with the Calabrian company – I started by being testers for their products that I immediately considered excellent, both for the quality/price and because above all they are natural, among other things very popular with customers. Today, compared to the past, people are demanding about everything that is organic and I must say that Aries has been very intuitive in capturing the changes in customer preferences thus proposing natural-based products”.
Coach Irene Ferrato
Along the same lines is the experience of coach Irene Ferrato, who during the internship explained the preparation and cutting process on Bichon Frisè and Shih Tzu.
“It is always a pleasure to collaborate with Aries,” says Ferrato, “I have known and used their products for a long time and have collaborated with their academy for many years. This internship also went well, I saw the participants interested, aware that training is very important. In reality it is for everyone, even for us professionals, because the field of grooming – explains the coach – is always evolving, in techniques and equipment and also in the products used for washing and caring for the dog’s coat. Once upon a time, for example, there were few products, now there are different types of shampoo suitable for the type and problems of the hair.”
Regarding her experience with Aries Soluzioni Naturali, of which the quality/price ratio of the products is also striking for Irene Ferrato, the coach adds: “I am very fond of it and, among other things, I have always appreciated the fact that the products are one hundred percent natural, as well as simple to use, both for us groomers and for customers who use them independently”.

The impressions of the interns: the testimony of Valentina Botta
Like the coaches, the participants, groomers who came to Milan from various parts of Italy eager to improve their training, expressed their satisfaction with what they learned during the internship.
Among those present were also some who were participating for the first time, such as Valentina Botta of the “Shampoo and Coccole Grooming by Valentina Botta” in Vigliano Biellese (Bi), who wanted to tell us her impressions. “I found the internship very interesting also because, among other things, I had the opportunity to see for the first time the execution of cutting on bichons, which I had not dealt with until now as I had no opportunity in my area. I liked it and found some of the tricks provided on how to work on the cut and define everything very useful.” Even though it was Valentina Botta’s first internship at Aries, she was already familiar with the products. “I had the opportunity to discover the company at the Zoomark 2021 fair in Bologna,” she says, “I was immediately attracted to it and for this reason I selected some products to try. For my work I always look for natural-based ones, and I must say that Aries left me very satisfied, so much so that I immediately ordered more.”
